New Year’s Training 2011
Each New Year we hold a special training at the dojo. This year it will start at 5:00pm Friday December 31, 2010. We will begin by cleaning and performing some needed maintenance. In this manner we clean out all the old stuff of the last year and prepare ourselves to engage fully with all that the New Year has to offer us.
Once we are finished with the cleaning, around 7:00pm, we will hold a three hour class. In this class we will remind ourselves of the basics that we have learned over the previous year. We will look at who we have become with all of the honesty of a mirror reflecting our own image back. We will then explore how we can take these basic images and apply them to our upcoming year. We will begin the process of manifesting that which we would like to grow into.
After training we will share a pot luck meal with our dojo community. All members are welcome to join us for all or part of our celebration as we welcome the New Year of 2011.
