    Ki Center

Ki: The life energy that surrounds us and is a part of us.
Center: To bring back into balance.

The Ki Center provides a setting for training in traditional martial arts such as Aikido, Kendo, Iaido, Karate; movement arts such as Yoga, Qi Gong, Tai Chi; aesthetic arts including Ikebana, Shodo, Sumie; and meditative arts. Future plans include the incorporation of healing practices such as massage therapy, Reiki, acupuncture, and various forms of traditional healing, wellness, and energy centering arts.

We develop and implement workshops and programs providing creative solutions to conflict, communication, support of mental health, reduction of addictions, community building, leadership, and potential realization.

By participating in these training opportunities we bring into harmony the mind body and spirit.  By giving intention to our training we create a more peaceful and productive community.

The building of the Ki Center is in progress. If you would like to participate in this important and powerful project you are encouraged to contact us.  Check in with us often to watch this dream grow into a reality.

    Update:
In June of 2008 we held our first workshop in Reiki. Led by Reiki Master Susan Mitchell four participants enjoyed a relaxing, healing, and informative weekend, leading to initiation in the First Degree of the Usui System of Reiki Healing.

This is the first step in bringing together under one roof the martial, healing, meditative, and aesthetic arts that are so important to living a truly balanced, centered, peaceful, and meaningful life.
More information about Reiki can be found at Reiki Healing Arts.
