    Workshops

We bring specialized training opportunities to many who would not normally choose to join us on the mat. We offer individually tailored workshops in the areas of team development, conflict management, communications skills, community building, relationship development, centering, potential development, and, creativity, to name a few. If you have an idea or need for a training we can develop and implement it.

No Power Point and No Lectures

Our trainings are creative, active, engaging, and developed with your needs in mind. Our style is to use experiential tools, somatic practices, and to engage in meaningful dialogue. We gently jostle your own creativity and guide you to implement the solutions that best suit your demands.

    What Others Say…

“Your training helped staff become more focused as a team and also provided intuitive insight into the issue of the safety in the workplace…I and staff really appreciated that you balanced out written lessons with hands on learning. This kept the training interesting and also challenging. I will be recommending your services to other community partners.”

For more than six years I have had the opportunity to work with and observe James designing and facilitating a variety of workshops with both adult and teenager audiences. James is a natural teacher, who is able to quickly build rapport with the audience and engage them creating an atmosphere that is ideal for learning.

What makes James so effective as a teacher and facilitator is not only his content knowledge (which is outstanding) but also his natural ability to adjust his approach to the needs of the group.

James is able to conceive and present on a wide variety of topics utilizing his diverse background
presenting engaging and consequential workshops. And he is able to do this on short notice.

In conclusion, it is without hesitation that I would recommend James Landry as a workshop facilitator for your group.

At the Foley Center Library at Gonzaga University we work with many different patrons each day. I asked James Landry to do a safety workshop for the staff to enhance our ability to provide a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. He focused on observation and awareness of our environment and provided us with strategies to minimize conflict. He offered some very practical advice on how to approach people, ways to deescalate situations, and tips on ways to signal each other if one staff member is having a problem. The staff responded very positively to the workshop and we are in the midst of implementing many of his suggestions. Mr. Landry is a very knowledgeable and personable presenter with a great deal of experience in conflict management. I would recommend his workshop to help organizations deal constructively with difficult interpersonal situations.
